Perfect.

Friday night was the perfect end to a perfect season for the Tigers volleyball team.

Seniors Molly Kreklow and Lisa Henning led the No. 4 Missouri Tigers to another victory and completing the season a perfect 34-0.

Wednesday night the Tigers beat the Arkansas Razorbacks 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 29-27) before an announced crowd of 7,437 at the Hearnes Center in Columbia. Missouri clinched the Southeastern Conference title last week — the school’s first championship since joining the SEC.

Henning and Kreklow have played 96 matches together and hold many of the school’s volleyball records. Wednesday night Henning had 14 kills, giving her 472 for the season, and finished with 15.5 points. Kreklow finishes the season with 12.65 assists per set, best in the nation. The team is predicted to finish first nationally in hitting (.362), kills per set (15.30) and assists per set (14.55).

Freshman Carly Kan had 15 kills, 10 digs and 15 points in the game.

Next up is the NCAA Tournament. Missouri is guaranteed a spot and the bracket will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 1. There will be a watch party at 7:30 p.m. in the Clinton Club at Mizzou Arena. First and second round games will be held Dec. 5-7.
