Missouri soccer team opens season with win over Pacific

The Missouri Tigers soccer team easily defeated the Pacific Tigers 5-1 to open the season Friday night at Walton Stadium.

Missouri was lead by two goals each from junior Taylor Grant and sophomore Reagan Russell. Senior Danielle Nottingham scored the fifth goal and added two assists.

Goalie McKenzie Sauerwein played the full 90 minutes, allowing one goal and making two saves.

Missouri (1-0) is scheduled to play at Memphis on Sunday.
