Mizzou baseball loses second game to Oklahoma, 8-4

NORMAN, Okla. — Hunter Lockwood had three RBIs, including a two-run homer, to help lead Oklahoma to an 8-4 victory over Missouri in Big 12 Conference play.
The game was tied 4-4 when the Sooners (21-14, 6-8 Big 12) rallied on home runs by Lockwood and Evan Mistich in the bottom of the sixth inning on Saturday.
Lockwood finished at 1-for-4 on the day, while Max White had three RBIs. Eric Garcia paced the Tigers (18-16, 3-8) with two RBIs. Blake Brown extended his hitting streak to 21 games, the most in the Big 12. Brannon Champagne extended his on-base streak to 26, second best in the conference.
Jordan John (6-4) allowed eight hits and four runs in the victory for Oklahoma.
Starter Blake Holovach (5-2) allowed 11 hits and seven runs in five and two-thirds innings for Missouri.
The teams are scheduled to play the third game in the series Sunday at 1 p.m.
