With the University of Missouri on spring break, the softball team did not skip a beat taking two games against the Evansville Aces 4-2 and 7-0 in Columbia on Wednesday.
In Game 1 pitcher Kristin Nottelmann started out shaky with five walks and two hits in the first three innings, but settled down with a 1-2-3 inning in the fourth. She ended up allowing four hits and six walks with four strikeouts in her ninth win of the season.
The Mizzou offense backed Nottelmann up with RBIs by Nicole Hudson, Angela Randazzo, and Brianna Corwin.
The Tigers continued hot hitting in Game 2 with all of their runs coming on home runs by Ashley Fleming, Kelsea Roth, Rachel Hay. Roth and Hay led the team with three RBIs each.
